
Louisiana is no stranger to rising tuition costs.
The state’s law school tuition has been climbing since the mid-2000s.
In 2015, the law school’s tuition cost was about $26,000, and this year it is expected to climb even higher, according to data from the Louisiana Law School Association.
According to the LLSAA, the average law school cost increased to $31,000 in 2015.
That’s up from about $24,000 just a few years ago.
Law school tuition rates are also increasing in other states.
Texas is on pace to have the most law schools tuition increase in 2019, with a projected increase of about $13,000.
New Jersey’s law schools are also seeing an increase.
Last year, the state saw a total of $11,734,532 in tuition, but the number of law schools increased by about $7,000 to $20,000 this year.
